Omega replica
Founded in 1848 by Louis Brandt in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, Omega has managed to weather adversity and triumph throughout its existence. It has survived numerous financial problems in the past and in turn, has managed to savor various triumphs as well. Like all businesses, Omega has had to evade different kinds of problems in their operations. Quite a common problem that Omega has had to endure from generation to generation is the untimely demise of their leaders. This occurred in 1903 when Louis-Paul and Cesar Brandt both died in the same year. It was on that year when the leadership of the company fell on untutored hands in the person of Paul Emile Brandt. However, despite his young age of 23 at the time of Louis-Paul and Brandt’s death, he would later on be credited for laying the foundations for would be the Omega that we know today.
What followed was a series of mergers and acquisitions. First, Omega merged with Tissot to form the SSIH. Then came the merger of SSIH with ASUAG which gave birth to ASUAG-SSIH. Finally, ASSUAG-SSIH was absorbed by what would become the SWATCH Group in 1985.
Today, the Omega brand lives on and strongly markets its watches worldwide. Among the notable personalities that behold Omega include Nicole Kidman, George Clooney and Cindy Crawford. It is also known for its sponsorship to Olympic games. The current Winter Olympic games have also been sponsored by Omega. Michael Phelps, an American swimmer who won many gold medals in the 2008 Summer Olympics is designated by Omega as a brand ambassador. However, this position was rescinded when Michael Phelps was found engaging in illicit behaviour in a party.
An Omega replica is a good substitute for a genuine Omega watch. It is low cost and low maintenance and keeps true to the original watch’s design philosophy.
